Phishing
Phishing may be confused with fishing.
It is when someone is dropping bait off a hook to try to get a bite. Instead of catching the fish however, she is trying to trick the fish into giving up its personal information.
If she is successful she may obtain something that she can then use to her own benefit.
Here, the fish is also phishing.
